This got us thinking hard and long about what we could do to put this situation right. It just seemed crazy to us that Nottingham was lacking a focus for the most important part of its heritage.

We were already involved in the internet, designing other peoples' websites. And living as we do, in the heart of Robin Hood Country, we hit on the idea of a Robin Hood Society, not just for Nottingham, but a Society for anyone in the world who shares our passion for our history.

So all of a sudden it made sense. We would use the "power of the Internet" to unleash the "power of the Bow". Through this medium we would act as a true focus for Robin Hood, promoting our heritage, providing a resource for anyone who wants to use it and fulfilling the call for a Robin Hood Society here in Nottingham.

It's an ambitious plan, but from our initial thoughts, the Worldwide Robin Hood Society was born. Now we need you to join us.
